Following the church calendar has always been a deep resource for Christian discipleship. Our church year begins with the season of Advent, a time of waiting expectantly for the Lord. It is a season of longing for the coming Christ, for his incarnation in the manger and for his second coming when He will make all things new. Because of this waiting, Advent is a penitential season, a time of confession and prayer. And, like the season of Lent, is marked by the color purple.
Below are mix of resources to enter into the and engage with the season of Advent.
